But if anybody is still out there this is a notice that I’ll freely hand over the reigns of the domain to anybody interested in owning a philly blog at this here address.

All that’s required is that you take over the cost part (minimal, maybe 20$/year?), retain the existing content (easy) and keep working on it (actually the hardest part!).

Get in touch!

There’s going to be a big post coming up on Chinatown (I’ve been to 6.5 restaurants in the last 3 days) with lots of photos and information. My stomach is experiencing a lot of new ingredients (intestines among them) and I’ll be reporting back on the good, the bad, and the really really ugly! (again, intestines)

Karen’s hard at work researching the cupcakes that this city has to offer! There’s more cupcakery in this city than I was previously aware of and she is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very dedicated. Very.

We’ve been busy lately!

I went on some interviews and got me a 9-5 at a cool startup in Center City Philadelphia. I’ve been digging into that and spending a lot of time getting used to the schedule change. I’m still working at Pif Fridays and Saturdays. But we’ve still got a ton of finds to document and share.

Karen just wrote a great little piece on Valanni, our brunch spot. You know a place is good when there is no other brunch that you will eat in the city (though we haven’t been to LaCroix yet!). She also has an upcoming post about the coolest Hotel Bar in the city. I’ve been working for a while on a big post about the Italian bakeries in South Philly. We also have a lot of photos to update posts with. I’ll be uploading those to Flickr tonight.
Update: Done!

We also have a nice customized Google Map of all our finds! This is a great new thing that Google just released. Click on the link at the top left to go check out our map of FindingPhilly’s Finds. It’s a bit more work but I will try to keep this updated!

Finally big ups to people linking to the site:
